Every account aged 13–17 is automatically set to private, and it stays that way. Minors don’t appear on the live map or on the Discover page — they can still see where pickup is happening and who’s around, but other players can’t see them. The only way to find a minor is to search their exact username, and even then the profile simply shows up as private. Nothing more is visible unless they accept a follow request. Players 18 and over can choose private too; for minors it’s the default and can’t be changed.
Aikon is for players 13 and up, so anyone under 13 can’t create an account. Players aged 13–17 also need a parent or guardian’s permission to use the app.
Block and report tools are built into every profile. If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block them so they no longer appear in your experience, or report them so we can take a look.
